Well, we’ve had a rest, taken a few days with our feet up, a few rounds in the sauna, and a jolly good cup of tea and a sit down. I have to say, running the thing is a LOT more work than playing in it. I’m almost glad we didn’t have to field a team in the end π
We had some truly lovely trophies commissioned, and having put half the profits straight back into the pot, there were some real almost-cash voucher prizes on offer. Real almost cash!
But the thing you’re here for, really, is the results. Much more important.
Best Painted Army
We had some great entries for this award, with a special mention to Lee Palmer from the Bristol Vanguard for his penitent crusade army. However, the win went to Jay Middlecote from How to Make Friends and Alienate People.

Best Sporting Team
Our best sporting team award went to the Bristol Vanguard Shiny Boys. Absolute Legends, with an all Necron team.

Wooden Spoon
One of our favourite teams who took an early finish on the chin, and were great sports throughout, the Rong Boys from Swansea University took home a purity seal each. Well done, guys π

4th Place
Purely an honourable mention, the Ambrosden Slayers came in 4th. Great effort in what turned out to be a very hard won middle table!

3rd Place
The Bronze award was take by a local team, the Vale Renegades!

Second Place
The silver was taken by How to Make Friends and Alienate People!

First Place
Finally, the overall winners of the tournament – and this was a close call – team Phantasm – well done, and great hats π

So there we are. We will, of course, be back next year. In the meantime, keep an eye out for this guy…
